Regular texture users will be pleased to hear a new full texture pack is due out very soon, but today is just for PNG vintage luggage labels!
This one-man’s lifetimes travel record was collected by a wealthy London publisher who died back in the 1970’s. I was helping to clear his huge Gothic attics many years later, when I spied upon and saved this box of original luggage labels from the garden fire. Now I’m very glad I did because many are now rare and thus valuable on the open market, worth much more than stamp collecting!
We’ve decided to sell these as PNG copies only, mainly because of their unusual shapes, a white or black background wouldn’t have done them enough justice. But the great news is that PNG’s will now work well in Russell Brown’s Adobe Paper Panel, even better with the new updated version that will be out very soon with many more features!
As ever these labels have been scanned in full colour Tiff and many have been lovingly cleaned of their travels down the years, but not over-cleaned as we think they are best in their natural slightly faded glory.
Photoshop Artists and Photographers, web designers and of course scrapbookers will love these as will graphic designers, illustrators, fabric designers, decorators and well, luggage label collectors!
We’ve provided printable labels much bigger than their originals to make them more useful and for instance these labels will easily fill your monitors of around 27inches, and printing them will provide ready to paste authentic labels!
Possible uses include mobile phone cover decorating, interior designs such as a la mode cushion covers, furniture fabric and bedding, decorated kids bedroom walls, covering your suitcases, trunks and screens, decoupage and T-shirt printing. We’ve even seen such labels turned into fabulous tapestry base designs, later made into sofa cushions and printed as well travelled mouse mats and sawn-on jeans patches, really, there is no end, even printing these out as bunting, on strings for that worldly travelled romantic sea voyage themed bedroom! Finally we’ll suggest the coolest idea of them all, your personal coffee cup prints. Cheers!

Each pack contains 25 .png format scanned labels. The labels are around 2000 px on their longest side which is much bigger than the originals. Please read the important copyright information for this pack.
