Welcome to this years first packs launch!
As requested from fans, we’ve expanded from our popular Flypaper Paper Painterly pack to add these new antique Wallpaper packs of overlays and the French text Fragments.
French Antique Wallpaper

Antique French Wallpaper contains 98 images, most of which are a new double-width format so that the pattern is fully apparent and also to help when printing out on A3, double-sized, full-scale paper. Most of the papers are clean but some have added texture to give a more aged/distressed look.
Many of the papers are from small found fragments that have been repaired and repeated, a few were found inside our antique French wooden trunks and others from museum samples that have also been enlarged and repeated.
We even made some of our own wallpapers with our bee/fly logo to enhance this packs neoclassical Napoleonic look.
These wallpapers were originally hand-block printed and originated from the French Revolution, up to the Belle Epoch era. Many of these are Neo-classical, which were originally inspired by wall frescos, like Cherubs and Arabesque which were discovered in Pompeii.

French Text Fragments
French text Fragments
French text texture Fragments have been a long time coming, these 49 images are made from our ancient French letter collection which also includes several original antique envelope-letters which originally had red wax seals.
The letters themselves were scanned and overlaid onto our ancient textured and foxed paper bases to enhance from the original bland white bases and add textural interest to negative spaces.
We also include some fragments from ancient French notaries land divisions, which consist of illustrated field partitions with added notes and several Included lists from Wills.
