Finally, after much work, we proudly present our new Midas Gold-inspired texture pack, which incidentally coincides with this autumn season’s fashion for all things ‘gold’, so come and join our gold rush and get with the ‘gold fever’!
This is a whopping one gigabite-sized pack of 60 peacock-rich textures that work best on negative spaces such as skies and soft backgrounds, adding depth and interest, not only for texturing but for backgrounds and overlays.
After our golden-gilding summer, we then hit the more muted copper leaf road, and have included some gorgeous mauve metallic effects from copper leaf reflecting clear bright blue skies. In addition, we also made and found real verdigris effects from antique copper and tarnished silver iridescence which goes beautifully with photography.
We hope you’ll have as much fun gilding your ‘Lilies’ this autumn as we had to create this, our very latest high-concept pack!
The Midas Gold pack contains 60 textures, mostly in a landscape format. Their size is 6000 x 4000 px and are at industry printing standard in 300ppi. To view the textures a little larger hop over to the product page and click on the mosaic image in the gallery.
All our textures can be used in any editing program that supports the use of layers, Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Gimp etc You can also use our textures on your iPad, Android and smartphone if you have a suitable app installed. You can only use them in Lightroom if you use an add-on that allows Lightroom to use layers such as Perfect Layers
