On New Years Eve I visited the Queenstown area for the day, Queenstown being a very scenic and busy tourist town and the arguably the adventure tourism capital of New Zealand. It’s also one of the places to be on New Years Eve and naturally the town was extremely busy! To escape the crowds we drove to the head of Lake Wakatipu and visited the more remote but beautiful Glenorchy and Paradise areas, unfortunately it rained…I can’t really complain too much as it’s been very dry and rain does make for nice textures photos.
This photo is another one of those “through the window shots” which are perfect for rainy days as you don’t get your feet and more importantly camera wet 🙂
