Because of Covid restrictions, I’ve been going through my back catalogue and came up with this image from 10 years ago, taken at the base of the chalk cliffs on the edge of England’s Eastbourne on the south coast.

Impressionist Painterly Launch
Welcome to our lockdown created Impressionist Painterly Texture pack! We created these real-life oil painted textures over several months, shooting them in natural daylight or ‘en plein air’ to get the most out of this oil paint effect. The impressionists also worked during the evenings for ‘effets de soir’ producing richly shadowed, moody effects using visible spontaneous brushstrokes to convey an atmospheric impression of changing natural daylight.
Provençal Textures Launch
Welcome to our Provençal Texture pack! We’ve sourced this pack from ancient Provençal villages earlier this summer, using their natural clay tints which were mined from their world famous open clay pits that have also been used to manufacture artists pigments for hundreds of years. These soft toned pigments are sprinkled throughout this soft summery themed pack of grunge.
Flypaper Waxworks Textures Launch
Welcome to our very first encaustic wax worked texture set! We noticed how popular waxing photographic prints had become some time ago and made a note to ourselves to do something along those lines, then this year the right time finally came about and we kitted ourselves up with loads of natural beeswax, natural pigment powders, bookbinding irons and blow guns, heated trays and bain maries, quite a job just to get kitted out! Then came the fun bit, hot and smelly but surprisingly enjoyable once all the windows were opened!
